At SEAD, we implement a range of programs designed to improve the living conditions of vulnerable communities across Somaliland. Our programs are people-centered and driven by the needs of the communities we serve.
We provide access to quality education through the construction of schools, teacher training, distribution of learning materials, and support for marginalized children, especially girls and children with disabilities.
SEAD promotes community health by supporting maternal and child health services, improving access to clean water, and delivering health awareness campaigns and nutrition programs.
We work to improve access to safe drinking water and promote hygiene and sanitation practices. This includes constructing water points, latrines, and hygiene education.
SEAD empowers individuals and families by offering vocational training, farming support, small business grants, and tools to increase income and resilience to shocks such as drought.
We advocate for the social and economic empowerment of youth and women through life skills training, leadership workshops, and economic inclusion programs.
In times of crisis, SEAD responds quickly by providing emergency aid including food distribution, shelter, and non-food items to displaced and disaster-affected populations.
